Angela Evans Teale, Owner
Angela Evans-Teale has been teaching Pilates for over twenty-four years. A former professional ballet dancer with the Oakland Ballet Company, Angela found the Pilates method as an incredible source for improving her balance, stamina, flexibility and strength on stage. She fell in love with Pilates and was determined to teach the Pilates method to help others achieve the amazing results she herself experienced.
Angela is certified through Power Pilates, a classically based, systematic and integrative approach to the original method created by Joseph Pilates. She fully believes that “movement heals” and focuses on movement and alignment to heal, stabilize and strengthen clients. Her clients have ranged from professional athletes and dancers; clients with chronic and acute injuries, including those with hip and knee replacements, neck and back injuries, osteoporosis, clients recovering from surgery; and pre and post-natal clients.
The Studio
Our Pilates studio is a home based, and welcoming space, designed to help you relax and focus on your practice. We have all classical equipment including Gratz and Pilates Designs. We are a classical Pilates studio focused on adhering to the way Joseph Pilates originally taught his own exercises.
